Why don't people in the city learn to love cooking for themselves?
There's so much benefits of cooking for yourself. Let me help you to list them down.
- You'll learn to appreciate your mum's cooking even more, because no matter what, your mum's the best.
- You always know what's inside and no doubt about cleanliness and freshness.
- There's always new thing to learn to cook.
- Save $$
- You can even share cooking with your friends who cook like you
- ..
- ...
- ....
- .....
and much more which I can't think of it now.
Oh yaya, you'll just love to see the spices you start to collect :P
However, there's a curse in my cooking. Whenever I cook for myself and Sock Hoai, the cooking will somehow go wrong, no matter it's the first-time-dish or the dishes that I'm already familiar with. There was once I didn't add salt in my soup; There was once the dish turned out to be too salty; Yesterday I accidentally cooked the vegetables for too long...
It's kinda frustrated to me, but I believe somehow the curse will be broken :P
(But I do know, my cooking can be a little too oily and salty for her as I tend to love... something much more sinful)
A simple dinner, is just so comforting after a day's work :)
(Another good reason to cook for yourself)
