Lerk Thai @ Bugis

Never knew about Emerald Hill until Yee Hau showed me last weekend. He briefly walked me through the places, but we didn't really go to explore. However, since then, I was attracted by the Heritage House along Emerald Hill and decided I must take photos here. That's how I ended up on Saturday.

This week, I decided to play along with some photoshop too. I change the colours with some Hue Shift and Saturation. The previous photos that I took in this blog, were not photoshop-ed, presented originally all along. Do you recognized which one is photoshop-ed, which is not in this particular entry? (except for those I've mentioned in the caption) Thank you very much Kia Hooi, who helped to guide me along when I was doing the photoshop, online! :)

These pictures, I believe, show you some different faces of the busy Orchard Road that we've all knew. If you asked me, I'd tell you I like these quiet place better.

Where is Emerald Hill? It is located near Somerset MRT station. There's a restaurant, where you see mostly Ang Mohs dining, same row with the heritage-look shop houses (TCC, Taka Jewelery Shop). Take a walk into the small lorong beside the Ang Moh restaurant, and you'll find Emerald Hill. Tell me if you like the place.

Singapore Flyer

Went to Singapore Flyer with Ying Ying and her colleagues and Yee Hau this evening. It's unexpectedly fun to spend 30mins up top of the Ferris Wheel. I think the fun would have to be credited to our DSLRs.

However, we found it to be very disturbing as the light reflected from the little cabin of ours, are BLUE! The first two pictures in this entry, are the only 2 pictures that I have taken successfully without the blue reflection on the window. I need more accessories!

After the ride, YY and her colleagues were so attracted to Kenko Fish Spa. So we paid $38, to get bitten by those little fish. It's a good experience, very itchy! Beh Tahan! We shouted loudly! :P

Singapore Flyer: $29.50 per person for half an hour
Kenko Fish Spa: $38 for shoulder massage+bitten by the fish

This is What I Need

Waltz of Water

In the sunny morning of Saturday, I decided to remake the water droplets to improve with knowing some of the mistakes that I've done previously.

Now, I see the pictures have more clarity! :-)

Happy~

她们翩翩起舞

I've always wanted to take pictures of water droplets. The weather isn't good today, so I stay at home instead of going outdoor for some photo shooting like previous weekends. That is how, I ended up playing with the droplets. The pictures are a bit "noisy" because I was using high ISO due to the very dark condition in the house. The sky was dark, the lighting in my house isn't good.

I guess I will have to take these pictures again when the weather is better :)
