丹桂飘香

我很喜欢有朋友到北京。

我是想念北京的。一直想找机会再回到北京,可是心里总是忐忑。越是想念的地方,越是不可以再回去。万一一切已经不复当年,万一我对她的印象完全毁灭,万一⋯⋯万一⋯⋯所以,过了五年,对于北京,我还是止于想念。

慧芳之前到北京旅游,问我要给我带些什么。我很想说,回忆。可是,我说了老舍茶馆的花茶。慧芳二话不说的买了四颗。 我因为没有透明的茶壶,一直不肯泡。昨天终于被我买到了!贵是贵了一点,泡了一壶丹桂飘香,还是很开心。

Christmas Came Early

It's never easy to set a perfect date for party, especially in December. When it gets even tougher like this year, we had our Xmas party 2 weeks before Xmas :)

To be honest, the reason we had a party was so that we have a reason to get our favourite log cake from Marriott Hotel. We could never finish a 1kg log cake on our own, and it's sinful anyway! So we got more victims friends to share the sins delicious food.

It wasn't a proper Xmas party. We had Japanese Shabu Shabu so it was easier to prepare. Other than shabu shabu, we had log cake (of course!), beer, cocktails and chips with dips. And while preparing cocktails for our guest, we fell in love with them ourselves. Think we will just get addicted to it!

We didn't take any photo, except for the log cake. We were too busy eating!

The best part of the party was, moon gazing. Yes, we only got to know it's lunar eclipse at 10.30pm. All of us, rushed out of the house to witness the lunar eclipse. Sounded silly, we sat at the park for more than one and a half hour looking at the moon.

It was in fact the most romantic Xmas party I have ever had!

My Own Food Therapy

I wasn't having my best week.

The only feeling I had this morning, was "Thank goodness it's Friday!".

I don't normally feel this because I had a tough week. I normally ONLY have the TGIF feeling because I had something interesting and exciting in the weekends.

I don't normally have XXX-day Blues because of what I have to face, but only the crowd I have to face in the trains and buses.

But this week, I had it all.

I don't normally cry because what I had in work. But after taken all the craps for a week, I decided to let go of myself. I found it silly. This was only the second time I broke down over four and a half years. The first time, I was a witness of an lab accident.

I don't like this.

The only thing I wanted after work, was to come back and cook myself a dinner. Created a pasta for myself, with anything I can find in my fridge. It turned out good, but needed improvement in seasoning, maybe I'll share next time.

Then, I made myself a coffee, to go with my chocolate bites.

Sinatra·Lounge·Restaurant·Bar

Sinatra坐落在巴塞罗那La Rambla附近的一条无人的小巷,找到这家餐厅完全是个意外。

有位西班牙男人在街上派宣传单,碰巧派给了我们,一群正在找吃的游客。他说他的餐厅保证好吃,如果吃了不喜欢,吃饱后可以出来踩他的脚。看他这么有诚意,我们便进去看看。

走入小巷的第一个感觉并不好,小巷黑黑暗暗,而且还有尿味。正当我们掉头走的那一刻,我在餐厅门口瞄到了Trip Advisor的logo。原来,这家黑黑暗暗的小店,被Trip Advisor在2010选为最好吃的餐厅之一。

Trip Advisor一直是我旅游的好伴侣,我对它有一定的信心,所以我们改变了主意,决定进去试一试。

Sinatra虽然不是米其林名单里的餐厅,在Trip Advisor Barcelona排名第33,食物是相当的不错,而且价钱也不贵。我还是很庆幸在最后一刹那被我瞄见了Trip Advisor。

就因为在这里,我学到了原来羊奶芝士和蜜糖还有balsamic vinegar,是天作之合 :) 我爱煞这盘撒拉!

西班牙的熏肉特别好吃,我每天从早餐开始吃,都不觉得厌。

Tomato & Caprese with Pesto Sauce。我平时是不吃番茄的,但是这里的番茄很新鲜,是甜的,所以我都吃。

这是当天的Chef Special,一小块的牛肉配各种各样的蘑菇还有truffle弄成的酱汁。牛肉煮得很软很嫩。好吃!

还有两、三道菜,我没拍照片。有一碟鱼,一碟garlic bread,还有一碟risotto。此外,我们每人还有一杯complementary的开胃酒。这一餐总共才花了70欧元。如果不是我们傻傻的点了4瓶2.50欧元的高级矿泉水,这一餐才60欧元。

一起旅行的日子并不多

Restaurant La Breche de Roland

在Gedre住宿Logis La Breche de Roland所享用的晚餐,无疑是我们欧洲游里,最美味的一餐。因此,要是我不为它做任何介绍,仿佛有点说不过去。

我们离队以后,都是自驾游。离开Zaragoza,我们不小心被GPS点错了路,走了特别弯曲的路,原本短短的路程,变成了一天的路程。尤其姐姐最压力,在山里的路真的不是普通的弯,而我们又碰巧遇见下雨天,雾异常的浓。驾车很吃力。

我们在网上预订了Logis La Breche de Roland的三人房。Check in的那一刻,我们都很庆幸我们预订了房间。一路来到Gedre,其实路上的小镇都没有人。小镇风光看起来美丽,可是没有人气,说真的我们也不会冒冒然跑去住。

暖气充足的酒店房,让我们很不想离开房间。外头刮风下雨,我们很庆幸已经来到这么温暖的地方。法国的小镇多半没人气,我们也只好在酒店的餐厅用餐。饿了一整天,我们决定对自己好一点。

这样误打误撞,我们就在法国吃了第一餐米其林名单里餐厅。虚荣的我们,开心的不得了!

参观里的吧台。我们并没有在这里喝酒,可是晚餐店的红酒,就是从这里来的。

开胃菜,是餐厅complementary的蘑菇汤!外头冻得只有零下一度,这杯暖暖的蘑菇汤已足够让我们兴奋!蘑菇汤的浓度恰恰好,不会太浓,也不会淡淡的感觉上水分多过蘑菇。

天气太冷了,我们点了一小瓶的红酒。

Cutlets of local Black Bigorre pig with onion jam and creamed leeks,我很少觉得猪扒那么好吃!从此,我爱上了黑猪!猪扒煮得很嫩,marinate的功夫应该是做得很好,不需要配任何酱料,单吃就很美味。

Grilled mutton steak with creamed garlic, carrot purée and white bean,没有羊骚味,美味极了!羊扒和酱料配的很好,配着豆吃,更美味!

Salad of locally produced farmer's goat cheese wrapped in bacon, with Pyrenean mountain honey。这份是我的,看见餐点里的羊奶芝士总是让我受不起诱惑。太美味了!在西班牙和法国,学会了羊奶芝士配蜜糖,是最美味的组合!

Hot chocolate fondant with passion fruit sorbet。意外的,这是最最最好吃的甜品!那块小小的巧克力蛋糕里,装着热腾腾的可可,一口咬下,可可全融化在口里。现在想起来还是回味无穷!


就因为这家餐厅,我们从此对米其林餐厅名单有100%的信任。况且,这家在米其林里是没有星的哦,都已经让我们那么回味了!米其林名单里,有星的餐厅,都得提早三个月预订。我要是再去欧洲,我肯定会提早预订 :)
