Saturday Brunch

Friday Night
This is the night that I've been looking forward.
Ai Mei was invited to our place, and we made some very simple dishes, spinach salad, chorizo sausages with mushrooms and chips and baguette to go with balsamic vinegar in olive oil. We also had 3 slices of cakes from bakerzin and a bottle of white wine that CS left around.
This party, was for Ai Mei's birthday and also her engagement. Everything is so unreal, some time ago, she was my primary school friend in my neighbourhood, and now she's engaged!
A night like this, is just perfect :)

Thursday, Just Keep Swimming~

I had a good day at work, had a nice chit chat with colleagues at lunch, had some small experiments running at the end of the day, and tried to complete something before I came back.
But, the very last few minutes was very grumpy. I found from the SBS iris website that bus 195 wasn't in service due to YOG road closure, hence, I wouldn't be able to check what time is the next bus. I couldn't find bus 100 too, and finally I got to know that bus 93 was in service. Sigh, it's a long walk to Alexandra Road. I packed my stuffs and shut down my PC.
When I came to the road side, I saw 195 passed by in front of me!! With quite a number of passengers in the bus! I was furious! SBS didn't update the website accordingly!!! Good service they claimed.
So anyway, I sat blankly at the bus stop, waited for a good 15 minutes for the next bus.
Anyway, it's all over, I'm looking forward, for weekends :)

I'm back
With food, again.
I do not know what's the difference before and after taking a break. Have I got more inspiration? Or have I got the idea of the "theme" I'd like to have?
I guess the answer, will be still a no. Unfortunately.
But today, after trying cooking this spinach salad, I just felt like making a record of it.
